Hi! I’ve been working on an exterior project rendering of a deck. My client home is on a lake and we want to achieve an integrated yard to house feel. My overall goal is to edit the rear deck of the homeowners house and then add back a larger, multi-level deck for ease into their exterior landscape. In the landscape I’d like to have a fire pit and walkway to it from the new deck.
I have attempted many ways to achieve this by using removing tools and so forth to clean up the space, then adding back each element of change on to the house but adding a multi-level deck seems to be my issue. So far, the only way I have been able to achieve anything similar is by doing a full remodel. However, I’d like to keep the most of the exterior home the same, with edits to color but achieving a realistic deck layout visual is my goal.
I have attached a photo of the house currently. A few showing my edits, then also some photos to show the style deck I am trying to achieve, gradual stairs to yard. Due to the height of the deck the. House connection, we are 63” above ground level. I will need some railings due to code. I can’t get railing to be added to the multi level effect.
